GEOMORPHOLOGICAL UNITS ON THE ANDALUSIAN COASTLINE
You know what? On the coast of Andalusia we can find 6 different geomorphological units, which are:
– Sandy beaches: eg. Cabopino.
– Pebble beaches: eg. San Cristobal, Almunecar.
– Low coast: eg. Roche coves.
– Low cliffs: ex. Nerja.
– High cliffs: eg. Barbate.
– Artificial works: eg. Duchess Port.
Obviously the sandy beaches predominate over the others, but they constitute only 50% of the coastal formation. Come and meet the others.
